正常夫妻生出两个耳聋宝宝

一对听力正常的夫妻，竟然先后生下两个耳聋宝宝。
日前，夫妻俩咨询湖北省妇幼保健院专家并通过基因检测才发现，
两人均为同一种耳聋基因的隐性携带者，每次生育聋儿的风险都是25%。
幸运的是，找出致病基因后，夫妻俩可以借助第三代试管婴儿技术孕育一个健康的宝宝。
5年前，方女士和丈夫陈先生生下了大儿子，孩子一岁时才发现有先天性耳聋。
两年前，夫妻俩决定拼一把，在忐忑中生下了二胎女儿，这个宝宝竟然又是耳聋患儿。
日前，方女士和丈夫来到湖北省妇幼保健院咨询，
该院遗传医学中心主任宋婕萍在问诊中得知，
夫妻俩虽然听力正常，但方女士的母亲是耳聋患者，于是建议两人做耳聋基因筛查。
检查结果显示，夫妻俩恰巧为同一种耳聋基因的隐性携带者，每次生育都有1/4的机会生出聋儿。
再次生育依然要面临25%的风险，但夫妻俩迫切想要一个健康的宝宝。
在宋婕萍的建议下，两人到该院生殖中心咨询了第三代试管婴儿技术。
得知可以对胚胎进行筛选干预生下健康宝宝，两人非常高兴。
该院耳鼻喉科专家为方女士的两个耳聋宝宝做了检查，两人都是双耳极重度听力损失，
医生建议家长尽早给孩子做人工耳蜗植入及语言康复训练，避免“因聋致哑”。
宋婕萍提醒，有家族耳聋史的夫妻应在孕前进行检测，
及早排查携带耳聋基因的可能性。
